Prior to coming to UMBC, Dr. Rutledge was a Program Director at the National Science Foundation and a professor at Northwestern University. Students will carpool from UMBC after the SSI. Peer Mentors and students from each campus will assist with transporting students from their respective areas. Participants are encouraged to bring a change of clothing. Restrooms in the Public Policy Building will be available for changing into comfortable, outdoor clothes. Upon arrival to Columbia, food can be purchased at the Columbia Mall Food Court or in restaurants on the Columbia Lakefront. Eating options and other activities will be decided by the group.
