March 4: Thesis and Dissertation Proposals:  A Ph.D. Completion Project Workshop. UM College Park. Guest Speaker: Christine Feak, English Language Institute, University of Michigan.

March 11: PROMISE Mid-Semester Meeting and Networking Social for College Park (Co-hosted by the UMCP Black Graduate Student Association and the UMCP Latino Graduate Student Association.) 3:00 – 5:00 PM.  This will be an opportunity for BGSA, LGSA and PROMISE participants from all disciplines to meet or reconnect over great (FREE) pizza!

March 27: Come to a screening of the film Lift Up, a documentary about Haiti following the earthquake.  One of the filmmakers is UMBC PROMISE Peer Mentor Huguens Jean.
